Default Ky Lake Crappie Fishing Trip

I just wanted to drop a quick note and see if anybody else on board is going to be in the Johthan Creek area on Ky lake Crappie fishing the Week of March 15 thru March 23. Me and my wife will be there for that week trying our luck at crappie fishing, not to experience at it yet still learning. We will be staying at Sportsmans so if anyone's going to be in the area stop in and say hello. I have a white skeeter boat w/200 yamaha motor so if you see us out stop and introduce your selfs. I hope the weather will cooperate with us sometime during the week.

Good luck to all on the there next trip and tight lines.

If things work out, I'll be coming down around the 21st for a few days. I'll be staying on the LBL side, but unless the wind is heck I'll probably spend some time in Jonathan. Dark green and gold Astro F/S with a Merc.

Lamplight: I will be looking forward to seeing on the water, hope we both have some success it will be a nice trip for your father if the weather cooperates.

Catfan: Hope to run up on you also, it would be nice to see some other crappie.com members to trade some stories with.

thehines: I do not know the mile marker # but the town there is Aurora KY, Jonathon Creek is a creek of the main Ky lake part.

We will proable run over to blood river area to fish a couple days also, if no luck in Jonathon.

It is just below the Eggners Ferry Bridge (I hate that bridge!) which is about mile 42. Aurora, Ky. is the closest town.

do know the lake mile marker. when you cross the bridge on hwy68 they have a public boat ramp on the left side of the road. the sportsmas will charge you a small fee to use their ramp. ( unless you are staying there )
