Default Any Fish Caught This Weekend?

Did any body do any good? We went to Lake Malone and got skunked. We had a good time on the water setting up the new Lowrance LMS520C on the boat. Rode around and marked some waypoints and found some structure, so it was not a complete bust. Water was high and muddy except in the very back. Seen alot of people out ,and the ones we talked to said they weren't doing any good. I was just wondering if anybody had any luck.

Went to a small so. In. lake (32acres) on Sat. The fish weren't acting right. Caught 35 keeper bluegills and no crappies, the lake is full of black crappies but they were hiding somewhere. There was some ice on the lake when I got there, but it melted during the day. The water temp was 39 degrees. The fish were about 5' deep in 10' of water.

M28, That lake is private but bluegills are biting in all the small lakes now. I filleted them and the wife made some bluegill chowder. It was so good I had to pat my foot while I ate it.:D

Just got home with 21 keepers. All in all it was a great day to fish. We have a big mess of fillets and caught all kinds of fish. We were fishing 3 mile creek in Aberdeen, Ohio and Lawrence creek below Maysville, Ky. Wind was terrible but the fish were biting. Life is Good !!! Most were caught with minnows and slip bobbers although my partner caught 4 or 5 on jigs.

I bluegill fished Malone on Sat. Kept 7 bluegill and 1 channel cat to eat. I had 38F on the Hbird 997. That is cold water. Just finished installing the 997 on the front and linking it to the 987 on the back. Worked great and marked some new structure. It was nice to get out of the house for sure.

Bluegillin, where were you at? we covered the entire lake Saturday. We talked to a few, but everyone said no luck. We were in a blue PT175 Tracker, what were you in? Where you live in BG? We fish Malone quite often, we need to hook up some time! I would love to see the si in use.
