I can't help much with Jonathon Creek but if you swing south to Blood River head towards the mouth of the river while the temperatures are cool. The crappie will continue to move back in the river as the water warms. By late March and early April on a normal year the crappie will move back on a huge flat that is easy to recognize, because there will be about 50 boats parked ontop of it. I am guessing Jonathon Creek is about the same and follows the same pattern. Irvin Cobb Marina is a good place to load and unlaad your boat in if you don't want to make a long run on the water and if the weather gets bad you won't want to do that. Good luck.

Thumbs up JB We'll Try To Hook Up

I fish Jonathan some & have quite a bit of stuff marked and I also have the hydrografix side scan of Jonathan. PM me & we'll try to hook up & I'll show you around Jonathan. BTW Little Jonathan is a great bay to spider rig. :D

    Whiskers,

I just got the Blood River Hydrografix from my wife for Christmas. Unbelieveable is all I can say. I can't wait to hit the water myself. I have always done pretty well in Blood but with this mapping system, it is all over for the crappie.

You're right about the hydro. It is incredibly accurate too. I checked some of my waypoints (big tops) in ozzie and it was right on! :D

Hey fellows, what exactly is the Hydrografix you guys are talking about? I assume its some type of program for the computer or gps with spots that you can download. I have only fished Ky. lake once and can really see how this may help someone with little to no experience on the lake. I fished Jonathan Creek when I went to Ky. Lake. Thanks for the info and help.

This is an awesome program. I wish gas had not gotten so high so I could fish Ky and Barkley more.

This will explain it better than I can. Any questions, contact the owner Pat Hahs. Great guy!
