I'm looking at buying a 1986 16' lowe angler pro. Can't find any info on the boat on the web. Wondering if anybody knows of these boats. It looks well built and the price seems to be right. any help would be great ...

Owned 3 In The Last 25 Years. Never Had A Failure In The Boat Structure. Did Have A Friend That Kept One At The Coast For 18 Years And The Front Pull Handles Finally Pulled Off. This Scared Him And Traded For Another Lowe. I Still Fish Out Of A Lowe 165. For The Money........their Hard To Beat. Just My Two Cents.
I have that exact boat and year model that I bought used, and it works just fine.
I fish a Lowe 165 with a 40 Johnson. Best boat I ever had.
"Dude, where's my float?"
Thanks for all your input.. I'm gonna go look at it again and probably make an offer. Hey Bleughill how stable is the boat? I'm 6'5 and didn't know about sitting up that high. our 14' V will just about throw you out if you lean over to get another minner..
This boat is nothing like your little 14' Vee as far as stability - not even remotely. Go look at a 16' Tracker and see how they're made; the Lowe is very close to the Tracker, with just minor layout differences. I'm 6' and walk all over the boat, so I don't think that leaning over to get a minner will be any big deal. Be sure and try out the boat to see if you will like it!! Good luck.
I own a Lowe and I think it is an excellent boat....but just like you I had a tuogh time finding technical information about my boat....gas tank size, hull dim., etc. ....
