    Talking I Would Try...

I'm on the boat right now but I keep up with the fish'n while I'm on here. The lake has been falling pretty fast & the water temp is still in the 40's. I would start off near deeper water near the mouths of the bay & fish from around 10' on down. A few of my buddies have been catching them in that range. If the lake starts back up move in & possibly up. I was catching them at about 8' to 10' a couple of weeks ago when the water temp was around 45 to 48.

    Good luck.

    Default Back from KY lake!

Fished 2 1/2 days and only ended up with 29 keepers. Didn't catch alot but still had a great time. Water 43 to 45 degrees and slightly stained. Most fish caught on minnows 13 to 16 ft deep, fished water from 8 to 28 ft but about all came from 13 to 16.Fished 2 days in Blood River and fished half of the day today in Johnathan.Largest fish 2lbs 2ozs.Last trip to KY lake till March!
