Does anyone use Charlie Brewer slider grubs? How is it supposed to look when it is fully rigged? I am a novice so please bear with me. Photos would be nice. Thanks

Best I could find. Pic at bottom shows them weedless and non-weedless.

Buy the book! It covers rigging and how to fish it. Best fishing-related $6.95 you will ever spend.

Are the two on the left the same and the two on the right the same? Which is better?

The one at the top left is rigged weedless. All the others are rigged non-weedless. Both rigs catch fish. The weedless version will just come through snags better.

I fish them at least 75% of the time and can't find anything that compares. However, I do better hooking the fish on a weedless head w/ (2) plastic tubes that for a "V" than I do texas rigging the jig on a Slider head. You can find the heads I'm talking about if you look back at some of "crappiepappy" posts on weedless heads. They aren't exactly the ones I use, but look just like them and you wouldn't believe how effective they are.

These baits are especially good when the fishing is slow as you can crawl them through the cover and still get bit.

    Lightbulb Newblade ....

I don't use the Charlie Brewer slider heads (though I do own some) ... but, I do use the slider grubs, and they work very well. I put them on either of these two jigheads :

I just thread them on, as with tubes or Panfish Assassins ... with the paddle tail pointing down (hook pointing up).
Sorry - don't have any pics showing slider grub rigged on either of these type of weedless jigheads.

"tip" --- regardless of what other colors you get, in the slider grubs, DON'T forget to get some of the Junebug/Chartreuse !!!

OK, I found this pic. I use the spider slider head instead of this one, but the rigging's the same.

I use one that looks exactly like the bottom jig in crappiepappy's post w/ slider jigs. They seem to be much more effective for me than the actual slider heads.........but I love the slider bodies!
