    Default Yatesville Lake

    Water Temp> 83
    Clarity> Clear

I fished out of the Barker Marina monday morning. Spider rigging with live minnows, greenbriar creek produced about 30 fish.... only 1 keeper about 11 inches but very thin. the area behind Carter island produced 5 no heepers and 1 channel catfish.... 18 inches a good fight on 4 pound test. After that it was 12 and the sun was too hot for me. Tight lines and may god bless.

I have never fished Yatesville before and i'm thinking of trying in couple weeks. I have read in Kentucky Game And Fish that gizzard shad was introduced into the lake in 2000 and the crappie took off growing to a very large size. Any help anyone can give about the lake would be very helpful. I have a map of the lake.
