Blood River Ky Lake

Hi, I've never fished Ky lake and will be staying on the Blood river next week 10/11. Is this a good area for crappie? I'm pretty new to crappie fishing and have been trolling crankbaits in Mississippi throughout the summer, any tips would be much appreciated.

Not from personal experience but my buddies are staying at Irvin Cobb next week.
They pretty much stay in the that area and push minnows.

You'll find success pulling cranks along creek edges and secondary channels. Otherwise, casting jigs to brush piles in that area is also giving up some nice fish. Seems like brush piles are holding more fish earlier and later in day. Cranking seems better when the sun comes up (along with wind - better from west).
