I had to use some info from a good friend whose family was uprooted from LBL. He says Pearl Forest Resort was in Turkey Creek on the south bank. That area is now the Off Road Vehicle Area.

Be careful around Turkey Bay in October. Stay to your right(south) going in and out. Huge bar on north side.
took me a while to realize LBL was land between the lakes. has that been blocked off from regular traffic and occupation now? havn't been down that way in long time.
The area is open to the public with some large commercial campgrounds and some back country camping. There are no private lands or homesteads.Quote:
