Exclamation Video game fishing @ Green

Shout out to Slabeye for taking me, once again, out on Green for some Livescope single pole fishing experience, yesterday.

Water temps - mid to upper 60's
Water Condition - slightly dingy to murky to clear
    Water Depths fished - 15-25fow
    Cover Fished - brushpiles
Bait of the day - Hot Rods (various colors & sizes) + Slab Sticks (various scents)
    Fish Size Range - 10.5" - 12"

Even though Slabeye thought it was "slow" & the fish were not as aggressive as they had been for him on previous trips, we still managed a double limit of quality keeper sized fish. Most were females, full of eggs in various colors (sandy yellow to gold to dirty gold in color) with only a couple of males kept.

Hat Trick of the day : Slabeye broke off his double jig rigging on a brushpile. We fished several other places before returning to that same brushpile, when I got hung into it myself. Freeing my jigs from the brush and reeling in to check my rigging, I noticed FOUR jigs hanging from the end of my line ... then noticing the "extra" rigging attached, I realized I had caught his lost double jig rig, easily identifiable by the Hot Rods & Slab Sticks on the jigheads.

Enjoyed the trip, Slabeye ... let's do it again sometime !!

No problem pappy. Glad to get out..Had a good time listening to you coaching the fish to bite. The Mega Rods in bonetreuse glow was the best color for me yesterday.

... yeah, I got tired of the fish coming up to my jigs and checking them out, then swimming away.

(just so you other people know what we're talking about)
The deal was : I saw a fish come up to my jig & just hang there looking at it, so I started saying "bite it, bite it, come on bite it" and then just popped my rod tip ever so slightly & BAM ... she nailed it (unfortunately that was the only time that my "fish whispering" worked)

Guys I'm headed there Thursday. Any suggestions on the general locations of the lake to fish? I've only been there a couple times. Thanks!

With all the rain we have got today who knows. We fish several piles and most was empty or had non-biters. Unless. Muddy water doesnt bother you i would say between bulter creek to lone valley is your best bet.

Thanks for the reply. Muddy water doesnt bother me if that where we need to be. I actually prefer it over clear water.
