Went out to celebrate the first day of the Kentucky 2020 license year by doing a little fishing in Grayson lake in carter county.
Managed to find 3 small white crappie by throwing a minnow on a hook with just a weight and slow reeling it back. Air temp was in the mid 50’s and water temp was between 40-43 degrees.
First crappie I’ve actually caught this year, hopefully many more to come. All 3 were held for photograph then released.
