About 12 years, deployments, moves with the military, overseas tours, combat deployments took their toll.
3 weeks, overseas.

It becomes a chore when fishing alone in having to launch. Park the boat then park the truck and trailer. Then walk back to the boat. Same ordeal when it's time to load up for home. Sometimes I am exhausted before I get a line in the water. This in it's self keeps me from fishing on a regular basis.
I know what you mean, bud .... I have to uncover the boat, take all equipment & batteries down stairs & out to the truck, drive around to the boat & put everything in the boat, bring the cover inside & lock up the apt., then hitch up the boat .... all before I can even get on the road to the lake (most of which are 1.5 to 2hrs drives one way). Then do everything in reverse when I get home. By myself, it can take nearly an hour just to get loaded & hitched up and on the road, then ~20mins more just to get out of town & on the parkway or interstate.
Amen funfisher very well said.
