The two FIN lakes here at Georgetown were both stocked with 500 catfish each this week around the17th.. As of yesterday, I saw at least 300 dead catfish floating, stuck in the moss at the Lusby lake and saw 100 or so floating in the Scott County park lake. Vultures are lining the banks. No one was catching catfish in any numbers, maybe one of two. So, I guess the hot weather took it's toll on the newly stocked fish. Appreciate the stocking, just wish these fish would have survived the 1st couple days.
