Pond fishing between storms

Took my boy bluegill fishing at our pond between storms. He’s 4, so I’d get the fish hooked up for him, then let him reel em in and lift em out. Got 8 real nice ones for supper and threw back a dozen medium sized ones. He had a big time. They was all clones, right around 9” +/- a fuzz. He was sure proud of em, couldn’t wait to show mama. I think he may have caught the fever, cause he’s already wanting to go back.
