Great post!!! I grew up raising beagles. My friends all had them as well. I think we harassed every rabbit in the county when I was young. Sold my dogs when I left for college. I sure miss those days

I raised beagles for about 25 years. Went to the old mines and gravel pits in Indiana several times running in field trials. I love to run behind them watching them work. What kind of dogs do you run? What format?

I run AKC. Spo dogs in the Midsouth Format and NKC Progressive Pack. My dogs are upper medium speed track dogs.

I know the Progressive Pack dogs quite well. Buddy of mine has produced some top of the line dogs in the format. I have been up to Evansville many times for the big trials. I’m going to guess you have some dogs out of Sudduth’s Homer bloodline, maybe some OakRidge Big Wheel dogs, or possibly Glomski dogs??

I have some homer stuff and lots of Bigwheel breeding. I won the US Championship champ division this year with a female off Hot wheels.

loved raising and running hounds.almost better than crappie fishing.been out of it for about 10 years now,would love to go and get a few and eat a good rabbit meal
