went to t-ville three days last week. (including yesterday.) It's really slow over there. I was slow trolling jigs/minnows/combos on the shoreline, and wasted my time. I can't find any structure on my Fish Finder (aside from the coves) from Settlers trace until a little past the dam. BTW it does get better past the dam. However, I did find several "hotspots" in the mouths of every cove, but can't get those crappie to bite anything. Kinda confuses me.
Yesterday, I had my daughter, and I jig fished the stumps. Was able to pull, and I mean pull three big boys from the stumps in 10 FOW. All males. Other than that, i'm packing up for Kentucky lake this weekend.
I try not to let Taylorsville Lake make me too mad. I always remember it's 30 minutes from the house, and there's nothing else to do.

The cold front and high water killed Taylorsville. Crappiepappy said it was 5 or 6 feet over summer pool. He told me to stay away for a week or so. I am heading down to blood river this weekend myself. Good luck to you but don't give up on Taylorsville. On past the dam there is plenty of structure. I had to crank up my big motor a few times because I got hung up on stuff I couldn't even see until it was to late. Don't catch them all this weekend.

Hey Jigboy,
Have you heard any recent reports on Ky lake? Weather is suppost to be great this weekend, and I would like to go. I wonder if the crappie will be hard to find?

We're planning on trying Taylorsville in a couple of weeks, as soon as I get my boat back from the repair shop. Needs a complete overhaul. Probably won't be able to afford the gas after I pay the repair bill!

Finally got my boat back. Anyone fished Taylorsville in the last couple of days?
