    Default Hey, Lake Linville ...

Just out of curiosity .... what's the launch fee at the lake ?? does the moss cause problems fishing any particular areas of the lake ?? how easy (& productive) is it to fish from the bank in areas where you can pull off the road and out of traffic ??

The launch fee is 5.00 there is plenty of bank fishing with mowed banks on opposite side of lake from dock. And on rose hill road this will be the better fishing for crappie from the bank . We also catch them fishing from the dock area when they move in shallow. Good luck thinking about trying another tournament down there before April is gone. Anyone that would think about coming comment and I will try to get it going

    Thanks for the info !!

When does the moss become a problem, or does it ??

What's the current water temps & color, if you know ??

Not much into tourneys, myself, especially on a lake I haven't been on in over 20yrs. But, maybe some day down the road.

There's not really a moss problem but do have a lot of grass that comes in the uppper ends of the two main feeder creeks but the rest of the lake stays fishable all year. Haven't been down for a couple of weeks due to practicing for crappie USA tournament on lake Cumberland yesterday finished seventh on amateur side with 7.33 pounds. Getting ready to hit linville soon.
