My first spring fling/thank you

I had a blast at my first spring fling this past weekend! Finally got to put some faces with names. The dinner on Friday was excellent, thank you to those that provided it. Got on the water Saturday morning and the first fish of the day was the second biggest crappie I’ve ever caught. Caught roughly 20 fish with 8 keepers. Then the trouble started. On the way to try another spot, I spun my prop out. After a phone call to Holmes bend they sent a pontoon out to tow me back to the marina, then the guy who towed me back even loaned me tools and tried to help me change my prop! I didn’t get his name, but whoever he is, THANK YOU!
Also want to thank Dutch552 for helping me get my boat back on the trailer and reccomending the Green River Prop shop in Campbellsville. The shop was actually supposed to be closed at noon on Saturday but by a stroke of pure luck, the owner, Doug, was in the shop that day and agreed to help me out so I could get back on the water Sunday. My girlfriend pulled the boat in to his shop, he put on a rebuilt prop that I could either buy, or return after Sunday’s fishing, and gave me a great deal on fixing my old prop. Great business to deal with and I highly reccomend them. The food and doorprizes at the event were amazing. It shows how much hard work goes into an event like this and how great our members and sponsors really are. HUGE THANK YOU to all who were involved in making this wonderful weekend happen.
