Wife and I made it for the last weekend of the cabin rental. Saturday we got on the water and fished till the rain rolled in. Started out from the pump station. Spider rigged moving around .6 mph with hot grubs. Followed the creek channel out to Britton Ford ramp. Caught 5 keepers and around 50 shorts. Sunday we got out a little earlier and quit at 12:30. We went out of West Sandy in front of the refuge by the island, it was really slow so we went back closer to West Sandy. Ended wit 4 keepers and about the same shorts. Water temps were in the 40 range, water was a little muddy. Best colors were popsicle and TN shad (southern pro hot grub). Will be back end of February beginning of March
