Thread: Lake level

When does the Corp start letting the lakes fill. I thought March 15th was the date, but a buddy of mine insists that it's not unitl some time in April. Sure would be nice to get some water in the creeks at Barren and Nolin.

It is the 15th. Nolin is slowly starting to come up, but I wish it would come up a lot quicker. Last year it was Memorial Day weekend before it got all the way up. My dad is heading back down to the cabin on Tuesday, so hopefully I will get a report later this week on the crappie.

Yes As Of Satuarday Barren Was At Five Thirty Point Two.summerpool Is 552.0 And They Are Holding The Lake As O F Thur. They Say Bass Are Biting Good And The Crapppie Are Not .you Can Get The Lake Level For Any Lake .just Go To Fishing .com And Click On Fishing Reports. It Will Take You To It .

On Ky. Lake (Tn. River)TVA controls the levels. Since Barkley (USCE) and Ky. Lake (TVA) are connected by the canal what each does affects the other. April 1st is the "official" day that TVA will start bringing the Tn. River System up to summer pool so Barkley will come up also. :D

I don't know if this has changed from '98 this is what I have.
