Made it out again Friday as it looked to be the best weather for at least the next week or so. Beautiful warm day and the fish were biting. Caught a little of everything including large mouth & small mouth bass, white bass, bluegill, channel cats & crappie. Mostly whites but the big ones today were black crappie. Along with one small blacknose. Throwed back numerous dinks and 11" bass. Searched several spots in each of 3 different creeks before finally finding a couple of spots where the good ones were hiding. The river was up at least a foot & a half from the previous trip and the water was really clear if you went up any of the creeks any distance at all. The pattern seemed to be stay close to the river & make sure you were in green/somewhat murky water. Water temps were anywhere from 58 to 63 & I was using slip cork/minnow rigs as usual. Ended up cleaning 14 crappie & 3 big bluegills. Biggest fish was a 14" black who was missing the bottom portion of it's tail. Great day on the water. I love Fall fishing.
