KY Lake 9-24 1st crank trip

I got to take a Dad and son this morning for Dad's 1st crank trip and the son's 1st crappie trip ever.

We sat down in a cove and immediately started catching fish. We stayed 5 hours in the same cove, never left, and my track on the 1199HD looks like a NASCAR speedway with a spin-out or 3.

PICO cranks were by far responsible for 90% of the catch. We ran water from 15-25 feet with zero current and very few baitballs. Fish scattered all over.

I failed to mention we had 29 keepers, lost a bunch, and left fish biting.

Yep! I'm in trouble now. Dad was already spending his kids' inheritance before we got back to Sportsman's. I-pilot motor, Southern Crappie Rods, HiTeks, PICOS, it goes on.
