    Default Cumberland 9/6

Surface temps have dropped 6 degrees in the past week, 76.2 today
Fish are still deep, found deep cover that was loaded ,mostly blacks
Caught at least 60 at 31-33ft all were hugging the bottom
2 to 1 shorts but the best bunch I've found since spring
    Trying again Friday
No pics, everything released, all on minnows, very fat, feeding heavily

Had several 11-11.5 in fish,, I'm guessing the bigger ones are holding closers to 40ft
Water temps are 76 degrees surface to 30 ft

Let's hope these 40deg nights drop that temp down a bit !! But, not too fast ... don't want a mass turnover this early in the year.

It will cool earlier than usual
The Corp has been generating around the clock with 1-2 sluice gates open for the past 3 weeks
Lake levels have dropped about 5' in the past 2 weeks
