Since the temps are going to be in the low 30s Thursday night and sitting around a campfire doesn't sound appealing, let's all meet at The Pond in Aurora at 6. Great food, reasonable prices, and laid-back place. It's located right across from the Early American Motel in Aurora. Lots of boat parking on the north (west) side. They don't serve alcohol but their fish is great, all the beans and hushpuppies you can eat, many different entrees to choose from. We can probably get a section to ourselves. I'll call them Thursday to make sure.

Those of us coming from Benton/Draffenville who have extra seats in their vehicles can stop at Sportsman's to pick up hitchhikers who don't want to pull their boats. Call me at 270-703-7600.
