Gearing up for Friday

Well I have the green light for Friday. Weather last time I checked looked good. Supposed to be 68 and south winds at 10. Gonna try Barren again since I'm limited on time. But will be heading for the big lakes after this week. I'll be curious to see how much the water has warmed up. Won't be long till things are right! I hope to figure out posting pic's and show some good results. Still trying to learn all this computer stuff.

Good luck...I plan on being on the water somewhere checking out those creek channels to see if any of them males have started in yet.

I'm definetly going to be on Taylorsville tomorrow.
I'll be by myself in my 14' alum (all white) boat
about half way between Settlers and Chowning.

Well despite my enthusiasm for fishing today....just couldn't figure them out on Barren. Only caught 13 fish (kept 6) so much for our weather man's forecast of 12mph winds. I guarantee at times today they were gusting to 25mph. Made it tough to fish where we wanted to. Tried Peter's creek but the deepest water we could find in it was around 7.5 foot deep. Tried it for a while with no results. Water temp avg. 50 deg. It was still good just being on the water.
