I had to contribute an additional $6.00. I've had my boat since 1985 and the last digit of my HIN on the title was displayed as an 8 when it is actually a B on the vessel. I took a picture of the HIN with my smart phone and provided it to the County Clerk's office. I've been told that I'm getting a new title in the mail in a couple of weeks.
