Well, ventured outside of my comfort zone on this trip, and fished down south. Water temps were running 58 to 63 degrees by later afternoon. Water clarity was clearer and got into the black crappie as well. Colors were the same as past weeks, and still suspended 1.5' to 3' in the water column. Wind was pesky and cold up til lunch. Regardless, a limit of feeshes on new water is a win-win!!

Smart move to go south we fished north ky lake and struggled but did find some in 16 - 20 feet of water over brush piles. Water temp was 58-59 only good thing was no short fish but nothing of any size either. Caught enough not to starve and had a great time!
