    Default Thanks for the help

I decided that crappie fishing would be a great way to spend some quality time with my dad. I started the learning process several weeks ago, and I have a long way to go LOL. This forum has been a great resource. A special thanks to 2 members that have gone out of their way to help get me started ( Whiskers & Quackrstackr) Their help has been invaluable. I got to get him out today for his first trip. We had a great day together, and even lucked into a few fish. The only down side is that no one warned me how addicting this was.

Is that you Mike? Great pics.

Tim told me you were starting to get the bug. Wait till I get a chance to get you out on some main lake ledges with crankbaits. Your bank account will never be the same.

Glad you had a nice day with your dad. That's what it's all about.

    Were you trolling or casting?

Tried them again yesterday (3/17) Tough day but, but did find a few fish in the afternoon. I got some great advice from another fisherman I'd never met before, it saved the day. Don't know if he's on here, but thanks Joe. Water temp has dropped from 56 to 48 BTW.
