My wife is in Louisville at a state convention. KY Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles sat next to her at a banquet last night. They were small talking and she mentioned I was a guide on KY and Barkley. He told her he had been here is west KY the night before and had eaten Asian carp at supper and really liked it. They talked about the taste and how the fish are a big problem. He said he was going to use his office to start finding ways for the fish to be marketed so hopefully the effects can be lessened.
It might be in some small way a start. Got my fingers crossed. We've got to use every means available to get our voices heard.
