Whiskers really did help me learn about spider rigging and today the results from Doug's (MRDUX) seminar on trolling crank baits paid off. I have been catching enough to make a meal or little more 95% of the time. Today I got a limit. My first ever limit of crappie and it was trolling cranks. The highlight of the day was when four rods hooked at once and the only thing I could think of get them out of the water so went rabbit mode and had them skiing behind the boat as i got them in one at a time. I do believe it was a one time shot the next time I would lose them all. The last couple of years have been awful lean on what crappie I was catching. Again thanks again to the whole group for having the camp. I wore my new crappie.com t-shirt today, I may be wearing it a lot. I caught them on sparkling pink, grenada shad, citrus shad yellow belly, and mistaken identity.Sorry don't know how to turn it around but there are 30 crappie, 3 stripe and one LMB. I threw back about a dozen shorts.

Great catch,Don.
The most I've ever hooked and landed was 6 at a time. Chinese fire drill was what came to mind. I did end up breaking a rod in that circus but those 6 finished off a limit for that day.The trick is the boat moving at a constant speed. Stop the forward momentum and it won't work.
