Kentucky lake 6/16 - 6/17

Stop by Kentucky lake on the way home from Mississippi. We got to Benton on Thursday around noon but it was hotter than new love so we just went to the room and took a nap. Put in at big bear at 7:00 pm spider rigged and picked up 4 shorts. Anchor up to try a little night fishing. Fished till 1:00 am went through 1/2 lb of minnows with no keepers 20 shorts a few catfish and a lot of yellow bass. Hit the water at 6:30 on Friday put in at big bear went out the the main lake to pull cranks.The wind was up a little out of the N/E which made it a little choppy. I found a lot of bait and a few fish but they did not want to play. Put in back on the trailer at 11:00.Ended up with 3 shorts and 2 cats.
