Hit the water about daylight and lasted til about noon before I got hot and quit. Spend a while playing around with a new to me 1198, definitely easier than squinting at the old 797. Fish were still pretty scattered, caught keepers from 13-24fow, oddly enough the blacks came from the deepest water. The fish I caught were all pretty aggressive just no big concentration. Should be some pretty good fishing next month.
