My wife and I were on the water at 10AM and by the time we stopped to fish our point it was 10:30. We left at 200PM.
Used fish finder and found a lot of fish in one area and deployed Slabalicsious Popsicle with 1/16 oz. jig head. Fish were all over from 10 feet to 5 feet.
My wife can really fish and she does it all. She caught five and i caught five. Three got away and there were a few dinks. Also used Crappie Nibbles. Lake was pretty busy with fisherman.
When we got there Settlers Trace was half full when we left it was completely full of trucks and trailers. Had a great time and could have stayed longer since we live close.
Also can go when ever we want and prefer Monday thru Friday. It was about 72 degrees air temp and very little wind and sometimes no wind at all. I used fish finder but didnt
check water temp sorry. Biggest one weighed 1 Lb and 11 inches long.

"D" LIKED above post
Sounds like a good day.
Yes it was fun and the fact that it wasn't cold and windy was a huge plus. There were a lot of bait fish getting hammered so we had to work at getting the Crappie to bite.
Still the production rate in just 3.5 hours was fine with us because we were having fun. Owe a lot to ( Slabalicious Popsicle ) and Crappie Nibbles.

I really like the slabalicious especially in muddy water. The slider is another good paddle bait.
