Taylorville 4/10 report
Made my first trip to Taylorsville on Sunday. Got to the ramp around noon and was surprised to see that many rigs in the parking lot. I fished in a cove down by the dam water temperature was 53 and it had a little color to it. Casted jigs and picked up 15 keepers all right at 10 inches. All where males. Did not catch many small fish 10 or so. The bite was a little slow but I found a few fish and just stayed in that area. Would have like to do a little running around to try and learn the lake a little bit. But I try not to leave fish to find fish. All in all not a bad day for the first time on the lake.
