Anyone heard any recent reports from Green? Gonna try to head that way Tuesday morning for a little while. Usually put in at Holmes Bend but I havn't been on that lake in 2 years. Just wondering where to start? Fish down trees and cover on the banks or try to find submerged brush in deeper water? Thanks

Great job, considering the weather. I haven't fished at Green in 3 years, but if I could catch them like that, I wouldn't ask for any reports.
Don't forget the Spring Fling on the 16th. You can come over and show us how it's done. Nice fish!!

It was a great day! Started out wanting to fish structure on the banks but couldn't find much, the water is low and most of the trees were out of the water. Was marking lots of fish in channel, 12-20 ft of water. We decided to give long lining a try, never long lined in KY, always have good luck with it on Weiss. As soon as we started, bam it was on. Used southern pro hot grubs, John Deere green was the best color. Caught fish on both 1/24oz and 1/16 oz heads trolling around .9 mph.

Nice fish! My favorite way to catch them![]()
Looks like alot of black crappie in that cooler. Haven't caught that many black crappie from Green in 25 years. Nice catch!
How can you tell they are blacks without counting the dorsal fins? The color will not tell.
