Most always black crappie have way more spots as whites have vertical bars on their sides.
You're right about that, CCF .... if those aren't Black Crappie (and I take your word for it), then their markings (as seen in the picture) certainly make them look like they could be ... or else they may be a b/w hybrid cross.
There are a lot of Black Crappie in Green ... but, most of those I've caught have come from the Robinson Creek area.
They sure look like blacks from what I see.
I am 100 percent sure those on top in cooler are black crappie.lol.pretty obvious

Lol a few hundred, I am jealous I always read good things about Green river lake, actually took the wife there for a weekend couple years ago I think it was Sept. well it rained like we should of been building a arc right before we got there and that Sat morning, we were hard pressed to catch anything, I think we caught less than 10 fish that weekend. Hopefully next time the weather will be better. Congrats on the slabs
