Cumberland 3/30 Report*

Took a quick trip Wednesday morning till about noon trying out some fixes I made to my electronics. First stop I found a tree full of crappie but they were mostly around 8-9" variety. I did manage a small 10" keeper and one stud from that tree. After that couldn't find a spot that produced more than one fish. Found 2 other nice slabs and no more short fish after that but like I said they were scattered and didn't find any more multi-fish locations. Had to go home and thought with the clouds and wind coming through, the evening bite may have improved. The first spot was in standing timber in about 20 FOW. Caugh the fish around 10 ft on minnows. Caught one of the larger fish on a grub but everything else came on the minnow. Not the best pic, but you can see that 3 were pretty nice ones (compare to the small 10" fish in the pic).
