Water temps in Skaggs Creek were 48°-50° yesterday. After church I fished from Beaver Creek Ramp almost to the 31-E bridge on Skaggs and only had 1 keeper (about 10"-11") and a couple small LM.

I only fished one creek arm for less than an hour. Water above 31-E bridge was very clear for Barren standards. Nice green color.
Water down to the islands had more color but was not muddy or brown just a little cloudier green color.
The people I spoke with and overheard said it was a very tough day. My guess is they are pulling the lake and that has the fish in a funk. Word was that the fishing was much better earlier in the week when the water was coming up.
A full week of near 70's temps should bump the water temp up. I wish I could tell you what the water temp was yesterday but my Humminbird has decided to with hold that information from me.

I surveyed on Sunday in Skaggs and today in the lower end down just below Dry Creek. The skinny water took the most fish in both areas.
Slabseeker,
Was that you in the boat marked "Creel Survey" ? I passed it on the way out to Skaggs from Beaver Creek Ramp on Sunday after church. Gave you a wave if so, but didn't know who I was waving to...
On a calm sunny day they will move up on the flats in real shallow water where it is warmer. Looks like they are still pulling water though. .8' lower in the past 24 hrs.
