Hit cedar today with my new boat to check out new electronics. Had no clue they had dropped it 7-8ft. Got to see alot of the areas
I normally fish as ALL of them are high and dry right now. Game warden today me they closed the drain Thursday and it will now begin filling to normal pool. It was like going to a new lake for the first time. All Ramps are open but docks are 6-8ft above present water line. Was told it was done to kill off grass, get bluegills out of cover for the bass to eat, to repair the docks and to place some new stake beds and additional cover. If you fish Cedar, now is a great time to scout places where you may want to fish at full pool. I saw stake beds, pallet structure, and log piles I had been fishing for years and didn't know they were there. Wondering what it will do to this seasons spawn.
