    Default Green River Lake conditions

Any word on Green River Lake conditions....level, water conditions, crappie fishing? Just wondering if anybody has tried it lately.

Green is back down to Summer Pool & holding steady, after 2weeks of steady pulling to get the extra 10ft of water out of it ... so it should be back to "normal" in a few more days. Members have been fishing there, recently ... some having decent success & others not so much

That's all I know. I haven't had the opportunity to go down there & find out for myself, but I see the occasional report on the Green River Lake Slabanators Facebook page.

    ... cp

I fished Mon. and Tues. in the Lone Valley area. The water was clear lake level at summer pool water temp in the 80s thermocline 20ft .
I caught a few short fish no keepers and tried spider rigging, long lining, and pushing cranks. The fish I caught were in 6ft on the flats and 13ft
in near by channel spider rigging. It was my first attempt at pushing cranks and long lining.
    I hope this helps.

I went Sunday and it was very tough, only 8 keepers casting in 7 hrs. Fished the same places been catching fish before the water came up and no luck. I had better luck on the channel banks than the flats.
