Kentucky lake early spring?

What area of Kentucky lake would be good for newcomers to crappie fish end of March or early April ?

Any part of KY Lake will be good during that time period which we don't really consider early spring. The Big Sandy area in TN will heat up 2-3 weeks earlier than the very north end. It all depends on the weather and lake levels.
