Default Need a weather/water report from barren

I've had vacation scheduled for a bit to come down to barren thurs and Friday of this week and I have no contacts in the area. Therefore my only resources are the louisville weather channels, which barely include the northern tip of the lake, and the Coe website which is level only. So if anybody local could shoot me a report on what kinda rain y'all have got and will get up through tomorrow that would be great. And if someone happened to know what the water clarity is like and the temps that's even better. Thanks ahead of time for any info.

1.75" of rain today, lake was already at summer pool with surface temps at 67 degrees in main lake. All area streams are rolling with water and some minor flooding occurring. More rain is forecast for Thursday. Long short of it, Barren will be muddy and on the rise. Crappie bite has been fair.

Do you have an auger? Bring the auger an leave the boat at home. Bring a rain suit.......two if you have a spare.
Everything is possible. The impossible just takes longer!
