That where I was last week, one day they would bite next couldn't buy a bite. Wind pretty tough most of the week. I would say we where week away from a good bite, that was before all the rain.

We are headed there friday for the 3 days. The rain this week hasnt been as bad as predicted for most of ky so im hoping the warmer temps have made them lively.

We made it over there today. Lasted about 2 hrs but the wind won. Did see an Asian carp nearly land in a nice Ranger boat just under the bridge. The wind was just brutal. 3-4 ft waves traveling back to the resort. Hopefully you have some good luck over the weekend.

I'll be @ Malcolm Creek Resort at the same time. So far it looks like the fishing is gonna be pretty good as long as the thunderstorms hold out. I will fish in rain and will find shallow water and shove these 10ft homemade shallow water anchors in the ground for wind, but lightning means my butt will be inside drinking beer and playing cards
