Caught them anywhere from 2' to 18' deep casting jigs on spinning gear. Males were mainly on the banks, but the majority of the larger females were in 8' to 10' and full of eggs. I mainly bass fish, but for you guys that like the crappie I would get out. Very few were related to brush piles....stake beds held the majority of our fish.
