Default Green river water temp and level?

Anyone been to green the past few days? Wondering what the water temp was? I suppose the lake level is dropping and getting somewhat back to normal. A fee weeks and it should be on!

COE Lake Report chart says it's a couple of inches below Summer Pool and falling slow. COE phone report says surface temp is 48deg (tailwater temp is 47deg) and they anticipate pulling the lake a little harder, starting this afternoon.

It BETTER be ON in a few weeks !! We're having the Spring Fling on the 25th

I don't know about it being "on" at those temps, but it sure would likely be beginning to "start" to being on. As you can see by the screen shot above ... the Crappie were still at the 10-12' depth range at surface temps of near 60deg (last year on Green).

But, as always, there's going to be some that are mere inches deep & bedding when the water temps are in the mid 50's .... Them Crappie can be so sneeky, sometimes

Temp was 58 today above the 55 bridge. Water was looking good up that area. Still a little colored around Butler Creek and Ramp 1. Saw a young man boat about a six pounder on Butler Creek. Talked to one gentleman at the ramp who said he caught a couple over 3.5. Very windy for crappie fishermen. Fish were being caught around the bridge area and Snake Creek. Caught mine on both minnows and jigs.
