Default Tough day on Ky Lake today

Didn't get skunked but really thought it was gonna happen today to us. Tried Blood River first for a few hours and never had a bite. Then moved to Johnathan Creek and fished till 2 before heading out to get lunch. Came back the last 3 hours and finally caught a little white bass then lost a crappie a couple min later. Ended the night with 5 whites and a 11" crappie. Hoping we can get some bites in the morning. Gotta head home tomorrow afternoon

Nobody I've talked to is catching fish right now, I tried it a couple hours this morning two poling and got skunked. Don't remember another day I have seen so many people head back to the ramp as quick as this morning. It will get right but it is going to take a little time.

About like a choclate milkshake, you might be able to see a jig 1/2" under the surface, lots of trash in the water too.

Yup. Chocolate milk like. Plus quite a bit of debris in the water. Not sure on Blood river but on Johnathan, once you got out to the main lake it wasn't very muddy. We went across the lake yesterday and it was just a tad merky but was nothing compared to the rest we were in. Didn't cross over today bc of the white caps already rolling when we got there

Extreme river conditions right now be hard to fish for them. Even all the creeks are putting out to much. If you could find a hole where backwater has gotten in and no current can be good at times like this.

I have a report from a work buddy that he found a few whites (Monday) in 25-30ft with Ky rig minners ...DEEP In the brush ... Had to dig them out ...
