Switching from trolling crankbaits to long line water temperature Kentucky Lake

I have learned a lot from the board members and have just barely scratched the surface. I would like to know at what water temperature you stop trolling crankbaits and shift to long line trolling and what temperature you shift to spider rigging. I understand it depends upon the fish but a estimated temperature would help me.

Below 65 I switch to longline. Below 45 I switch to spider rigging. Just ballpark figures. It all depends on where I'm fishing and water conditions. Those are fall figures as the water cools down. In spring it can all be different, depending on the mood I'm in.

I use 60 as a general number, but will let the fish tell me what they want. I've caught fish pulling crankbaits on Green River Lake as late as Thanksgiving before. I have yet to master longlining jigs so I tend to move to spider rigging once the crank bite dies off.
