    Default Skunked!!!

So my brother and i went out for a few hours on saturday and could not buy a bite. Water temps in the mid 60's and not one crappie, actually never had a bite. One thing i hate is fish with lockjaw, but it was nice to get out especially for him since it was his first time since his surgery. Anyway, anyone else have any luck?

we fished Gunpowder creek in Boone county, water temps started out around 63-64 and by the time we left were 67-68. i have a few favorite spots were i always catch at least one crappie, but it just never happened. Actually i caught more crappie a few months ago when the water was in the 80's.

Should of fished for the Trout Kiss. We fished East Fork lake today from 7:30am- 4:30pm took my Buddy out who had never spider rigged, we went with 6 dozen minnows, caught 2 yes 2 short crappies a sunny and a decent channel cat. Got so bummed we asked a couple guys if we could anchor down and watch them for excitement. Water temp was 67 in the morning and 77 when we loaded up, we tryed fishing deep, shallow, jigging, minnys under bobbers, fishing wood and brush You name it. I will say no one else was doing well either so we all sucked I guess.
