Thanks for the report !! I wouldn't have thought they'd be so deep, as I used to catch them 8-10' down in standing trees (20-35ft of water), in Nov.

Don't know if it's "legal", but I'm sure it's done. T-ville is a COE lake ... so check with the Corps about it. I'm not sure the lake needs any more "vertical" cover ... but, it sure wouldn't hurt my feelings if there were more "blowdowns" around the lake :D

If you do find out about the "legality" of placing condos, post it for us, would you please ? I've got a prime spot picked out (used to be a large blowdown there, fishable from the bank, but it seems to have been flooded away ... and I'd like to "re-structure" the spot with PVC trees) .... luck2ya ... cp

Well I went Friday and Sunday (26th) and just like last fall I couldn't find
any fish in my favorite areas up around the Chowning Ln ramp.
I had to go down the lake and fish the deeper water, I caught 13 Suday
in around 55' of water maybe 15-20' deep. All nice size.
Do you think the crappie migrate down the lake in the winter?
I thought they never moved very far but now i wonder.
