Kentucky Lake Trip

Hey Guys

i am coming up to KY Lake staying at Lighthouse Landing the week after 4th of July. What's some places to try near there and what method to fish? Trolling cranks, long lining, single pole? Any colors better than others? Not looking for secret spots just would like to catch a few and have fun with my sweetie without the kids and do some fishing.

I normally don't fish that far north but I spider rig anywhere from 16-22 ft. I've been catching fish on about any color jigs with chartreuse in them. As long as you find structure you shouldn't have any problem finding fish.

Dark colored cranks in main lake secondary channels up to 25 feet. Find the baitballs and the crappie will be there. Download the TVA lakes app and watch the power generation schedule. If they are running 40K or up to 70K at the dam, you should do good.
